Watch for major oil leaks!

Heavy sludge buildup on your engine case can cause extensive overheating.  This individual had loose case 1/2 nuts as well as cylinder head nuts. There were also leaking pushrod tube seals as well as oil cooler seals.  They likely traveled dirt roads.  Note the blockage of the oil cooler cooling fins.  Rod bearings and crankshaft can be damaged.
